The Renfrew Farmers’s Market officially opened the first weekend in May and there are quite a few vendors already there with local product!! So for those who haven’t headed down to the market yet, here’s what’s available:
Fresh potted plants, hanging baskets, and perennials from Kilt Rock Greenhouse, Honey from Nature’s Honey, Fruit Pies from Agnes the Pie Lady, Preserves, cake breads, etc from Beth’s Kitchen, Fletchington Farms is back with their yummy pork and McGregor’s Produce has new this year, asparagus as well as rhubarb and winter potatoes! I am sure that by the end of May we will have a few more there as well. We have some new vendors who are bringing in new baked products and jewellery!
Just remember that the market will be moving to the Renfrew Fair Grounds as of June 2 , 2012! We will have an article in the newspaper and the info will also be put on the radio as well! We hope to see everyone out this weekend to support our locals!!!
